When you give your life to God, you're in for the adventure of a lifetime. You experience a lot of ups, and still a lot of downs, but in the midst of those 'downs', if your eyes are open to it, you'll see a LOT of goodness amongst the downs, and experience a lot of amazing things you never thought you would.Take this relationship for example... one of the many reasons why I am so thankful for Judah's life, is the fact that without him coming so early, we never would have had the chance to meet and know this BOSS LADY.I also never thought that I would be friends (as in, I would take a bullet for this woman), with a NEONATOLOGIST. I mean, that title alone intimidates little old me! But this one... this Dr who delivered Judah and helped give him LIFE... who had to bring us bad news, and good news... this woman we now call 'friend', she is UNREAL-AMAZING.Rebecca, I learn a life-lesson from you, every single time I am with you. You are wise and kind, and strong and fun. You are SMMMMMAARRRTT and gracious. Words could never ever express my gratitude towards you and how you approach your job- it's science, art, and HEART. You are world-renown for a reason, and we are so privileged to call you 'Judah's first girlfriend'.To all of you working in the NICU field, KUDDOS to you. It's a tough job- we know that well- but what you do is so very very appreciated.
